    Black Belt Exam and Seminars!

    Chicago dojo
    Enso Karate will host a packed day of activities for our dojo community. For the students who will be testing for a black belt rank, this will be their opportunity to demonstrate their progress in front of judges, peers, family, and friends. We hope you will take part in the events of the day!
     
    Because of this once-a-year special event, regular karate classes will not be held on Saturday, July 20th. Instead of regular classes, we hope our current students will attend our karate seminars featuring our guest instructors; there is no fee for current students to attend these classes, which are a lot of fun and a great way to learn something new!
     
    A more detailed schedule will be released closer to the exam date, but generally the day will flow as follows:
    • Morning: Special Seminars with guest instructors Sensei Dwight Holley of Cincinnati and Sensei Morris Lawrence of Ann Arbor.
    • Afternoon (approximately 2-3 hours): The Exam
    • Evening: Celebration Dinner
