Adult Karate Classes

Adults who are interested in getting started in karate are welcome to join any of the Beginners classes indicated in our class schedule. Some are designated as “Youth and Adult” which will have a mix of ages, and are great for families who would like to train together. The “Adult” beginner classes are only for adults, which may be preferred by some.

We welcome adults of all fitness levels. Give it a try! See trial class opportunities.

Returning Students
Enso welcomes students who are interested in continuing their training in Shotokan or transitioning from a different martial arts style.  If you earned rank in another organization or in another martial art style, we ask that you wear a white belt until you have been tested and ranked with Enso, or until an instructor has observed your training for several sessions.

We understand you may be searching for a dojo that suits your particular needs and preferences. We invite you to make an appointment so that you can visit the dojo, observe a class, and ask questions.

Visitors
We love meeting other Shotokan practitioners from around the world and welcome visitors who would like to join a class. This option is open to advanced Shotokan Karate students (other ranks by permission).  Please send us an email letting us know when you will be in town and we can suggest a class for you.  There is a $28 drop-in fee for visitors.
