Enso Karate invites you to attend special karate training sessions featuring
FEBRUARY 15-16, 2020
We are excited to invite karate practitioners of all styles to attend a weekend of training sessions taught by Sensei Kenji Hashimoto, a 5th dan instructor and coach from Japan. Students of all ages and ranks are welcome to participate in what is sure to be fun learning experience. We hope to see you in Chicago in February!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Sensei Kenji Hashimoto (5th dan) comes to Chicago from Japan where he is the head coach of the Tokuyama University karate team. Having started his training in Shotokan Karate at the age of three, he is a highly experienced instructor and coach who travels around the world to teach his karate seminars (ex., Austria, USA, India, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand). In addition to training and teaching karate at several locations in Tokuyama and Yamaguchi City, he also teaches high school science. From 2007 to 2009, he lived in El Salvador where he taught and served as a national coach.

9:00am-10:15am – Session 1: Youth class – Especially for kids 12 and under, this will be a fun class
featuring karate drills and games to build basics and kata skills.
10:15am-10:45am – Meet and greet
10:45am-12:00pm – Session 2: Kata (all levels, all ages)
12:00pm-1:00pm – Break/lunch on your own
1:15pm-2:30pm – Session 3: Kumite (all levels, all ages)
2:30pm-3:00pm – Break
3:00pm-4:15pm – Session 4: Kumite (brown and black belts)
6pm – Join us for a dinner with our guest (pay on your own). Place TBD.

COST & REGISTRATION
The fee is based on the number of sessions as shown below. No refunds will be issued unless the event is cancelled by Enso.
Registration will be open until space is no longer available. Signed waiver is required for participation (can be completed when paying online).
Use the parking lot at 549 S. Wells Street, which is on the Northeast corner of Wells and Harrison. Enso has a special discount with Hunter Parking. You may park for $2 while you are attending class at Enso. Once parked, walk north to 412 S. Wells. At the front door, find Enso in the directory and call up. We’ll buzz you in! Take the elevator to the 7th Floor. When you come up to the dojo, sign in on the Parking Log and Sign-In sheet, and pay the $2 to a staff member. Download parking pass.
